The inventive dance film, titled Illuminations, explores the relationship between dance and light by creating a vivid duet between the dancer and sources of vibrant illumination. The brilliantly expressive trails of light respond and change in both shape and color with the dancer’s movement, unifying the two and transforming the space into an immersive experience of movement and luminosity.

Quixotic is a Kansas City-based, multi-faceted creative ensemble that fuses together any—and every—art form in order to create an experience that is completely unique. The modern day collective of leading artistic innovators seeks to eliminate the barrier between performer and audience, constantly re-inventing themselves to stay just ahead of the curve, and just beyond what we think is creatively possible. An innovative performance art collective, Quixotic fuses imagination with technology, dance, projectionmapping and live music to create fully-immersive, multi-sensory experiences.
